What we do
- Please note: We are not a store and carry no inventory.
- We offer FFL transfer services for when you buy a gun online or someplace else. Either bring or have the gun shipped to us, and we will legally transfer ownership, do the background check, and give you the firearm. We are not a store and carry no inventory, just per request gun sales. We also offer accessories installation and a firearm cleaning service.
- We are also now a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating. The BBB does not hand out the A+ rating without checking out the reputation of the business, so you can feel confident when you choose us as you FFL. Click on the BBB logo above to see our profile.
A Veteran owned LLC
- We believe in the US Constitution and all of the amendments. Our forefathers had a plan for this nation, and that plan has worked pretty well so far. It allowed for certain freedoms for the citizens of this country and our soldiers have since fought and died defending those freedoms. The Second Amendment asserts the right of responsible and trained citizens to keep and bear arms to defend themselves and their families, not only from the criminals, but from a tyrannical government that may want to force their overly oppressive rules onto their people. This is what we had when we were under British rule, and the men who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights wanted to make sure that never happened again. Do we have problems to solve in America? Of course we do, but disarming responsible gun owners won’t solve any of them. Freedom has never been free; it has always come at a cost, but its a cost we should be willing to pay.
GKPRO GUNS- FIREARM TRANSFER POLICY- PLEASE READ
GKPRO GUNS, LLC (GKPRO) acts as a transfer agent for Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer-to-dealer transfers. GKPRO assists customers by receiving firearms ordered from FFL dealers, firearm manufacturers, or firearm importers and delivering these firearms to destination customers.
Every FFL Form must include your name and the make, model, and serial number of the gun being transferred. GKPRO will receive the firearms from the seller or dealer and complete the required paperwork with you. If we do not have a current FFL on file for the originating dealer, a copy of the dealer license must either be provided before the firearm is shipped to us or included with the firearm. Online gun sites provide this information automatically. In any case where it isn’t provided, we only need an email address for the seller and we will send a copy of our license and request a copy of theirs. Just let us know.
When we receive the firearm and you arrive for your appointment, you will fill out the required Federal Form (4473) and State of Wisconsin Handgun Form (if it is a handgun). If we receive a firearm on your behalf and you are legally unable to take possession of the firearm for any reason, including but not limited to, you receiving a denial by the FBI NICS or the Wisconsin Department of Justice, or because of any disqualifying answer you provided on either form, you are still responsible for the transfer and background check fee and any shipping charges incurred by us to ship the firearm back to the originating dealer. Most online stores will email us a prepaid shipping label when a return is requested by you, the customer. We will package the firearm, apply the label, and ship back the firearm back for you so you can get a refund from the seller.
The FFL Transfer Fee and background check fees are due at the time of the initial appointment time and is NOT refundable, even if your background check is denied. Your denial status has nothing to do with the work that we did, so we still deserve to be paid for the services we provided. Denials, in fact, make more work for us as we will need to assist in getting your firearm returned to the seller, so that you can get your refund for the gun.
We are not also liable for the condition of any firearm that we receive. Any warranties implied or expressed are solely between you and the originating dealer/seller, so you will need to work with the seller yourself to get the issue resolved. We did not sell you the gun nor did we profit in any way from the sale.
There is an industry standard, that any firearm/registered gun part received by an FFL needs to be picked up by the customer, or returned to the seller, within 30 days of receipt or it becomes the property of the FFL. These are controlled items and the rules governing them doesn’t allow for them to just sit around without registration indefinitely . The normal expectation is that arrangements need to be made to transfer the item within 30 days of receipt or the FFL can sell it as his own. Here at GKPRO, we are committed to wait 60 days before taking that step. After that, we will take ownership and offer it for sale. It’s only fair; it is wrong to expect us to just store the item here with no contact or arrangements made by you to transfer it.
We also reserve the right to cancel any FFL transfer transactions at any time for any reason.
Thank you for reading and understanding these policies
